About this tool

This training tool, developed by Nexer Digital, is a fictional service designed to simulate accessibility challenges. It does not represent the actual services created by Nexer Digital.

Purpose of this tool

The aim of this tool is to provide organisations with a tailored training course on accessibility. It intentionally includes:

  • Accessibility Issues: Known challenges to highlight common barriers.
  • Usability Issues: Deliberate design flaws to demonstrate usability problems.
  • Non-Inclusive Language: Examples of language that may not be inclusive.

This is to help you learn about and understand the importance of accessibility, usability, and inclusive design in digital services.

How to use this tool

Explore the tool and identify as many issues as you can. Here are some tools and tips to assist you:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Navigate through the tool using only your keyboard (e.g., using the Tab key), avoiding the mouse.
  • Automated Tools: Use tools like the WAVE Chrome extension to find common automated issues.
  • Manual Tools: Most issues will be found through manual testing, such as using screen readers (e.g., NVDA for Windows or VoiceOver for Mac) and adjusting text with browser and system magnification.
